ALPINE SWIFT, INC. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM

Alpine Swift, Inc. believes in Performance-Based Contracting and is ready to accept performance work statements (PWSs) with deliverable milestones that are easily measurable and verifiable. We employ quality assurance (QA) methods to verify compliance in the performance of work. Internally, we exercise these practices via periodic reviews of employee performance versus customer expectations as delineated in the applicable PWSs. The Alpine Swift approach to QA includes methods, plans, processes, and procedures that are completely focused to ensure outstanding products are delivered within cost and on time to meet all schedule requirements.

Alpine Swift team members are trained and encouraged to take preventive actions as a key element of our quality efforts. Each product development cycle includes the necessary step of scheduling the supervisory and peer reviews required for delivery of white papers, reports, briefs, and significant or sensitive email. A combination of supervisory and peer review efforts examine documents for necessary updates or revisions, and ensure the current revision status of data or documents is identified. Alpine Swift has implemented a Quality Control (QC) Process based on our belief that quality begins at the lowest level: with well-trained employees who know the tools, know the customer and know the issues.

For all SeaPort-e task order awards, Alpine Swift will employ tools, techniques and training to maintain and improve the quality of all Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to include briefs, technical papers, meeting agendas, minutes, and monthly status reports. Alpine Swift will designate a Task Order Manager (TOM) or Task Lead who will be responsible for collecting data on QA issues and trends. Common errors will be identified and become the focus of training efforts to ensure that the workforce improves the quality of their efforts over time. One of Alpine Swift’s key quality attributes is that we work to ensure quality processes, tools and techniques are applied continuously and consistently throughout the effort. Quality metrics will be briefed to the team on a regular basis, and regular weekly team meetings will include discussion of quality issues that require additional focus.

For each task order, Alpine Swift will establish a Quality Control (QC) Council that will convene monthly. The QC Council, chaired by the designated TOM or Task Lead, will ensure adherence to Alpine Swift’s own QA Plan. The QC Council will function to ensure work products are reviewed, and corrections are made, prior to delivery to the Government.
